Fifteen years ago, using your personal computer for a video chat half a world away was amazing. Phones and fax machines had been used decades previous, but real-time video elevated the possibilities. Today, we are on the brink of a new frontier of serving people Online. We must look beyond video alone. Our software must integrate tools that help providers, educators, musicians, and beyond achieve the same goals Online that they do in person.
The challenges is: the tools of each specialty are different. Where a cardiologist depends on an EKG, a speech pathologist might rely on flashcards, and a piano teacher need to show sheet music and and their hands simultaneously.
Blink Tech launched it's first product, Blink Session, in 2017. The question was: How do you do speech therapy online? As I observed my wife, a speech pathologist, grapple with how to translate in-person therapy to a computer screen and webcam, I thought: there has to be a better way. Something better than using software designed for business meetings to help people with their speech Online.
Today, Blink Tech's mission goes beyond Speech Therapists to all therapists and now music teachers, with Blink Lesson. Our brands include software, training, and resources to empower professionals help their clients and students online, plus run their entire operations.
